TruthQuest just had a brain boom  :!: , and I need critique...

I will assume that many of you have read, in your lives, the comics portion of news papers. Would it be a good idea to ask the Online news community if they would like some weekly news comics. Dreamkeepers themed perhaps?
I don't know for sure how well those online news mags are doing but I would be willing to bet that some of them wish that they had a way to attract more reader subscriptions and adding a comic strip area might do that.
The comic could be based off of Dreamkeepers... :?:

Advice?

(in other words, IS this a good idea :( )

I think that's something that David should consider on his own. On one hand, yeah, Dreamkeepers is getting more exposure, but what if said magazine come with demands? If David is in any way or form losing ANY of the Dreamkeepers property to someone else, then it is not desirable.

Even if someone else were to write/make it. . . which. . already, in itself is watering it down, that'd still need David's inspection before it goes through, and he's already got enough to deal with without having to do that as well.

Bottom line, it's up to the Lillies.

It is if you're posting random crap all over windows and stuff where its not supposed to be. The college I attend has student ad space everywhere: the roof of the bus, community boards, heck most bus stops have at least 20 years of staples on them. (Which may be a tetanus hazard actually now that i think about it...)

Expansion on the idea for a newspaper comic:

Wouldn't it be more practical to ask David and Liz if the Prelude could be used for that? Of course like Twi said it shouldn't compromise their right in any way. This way it'd be a good representation of the comic (being the real thing :P), it's already made (or at least there is enough to last a long time) and freely available. This way the prelude could get more publicly distributed. The only edits that come to mind is that large pages might need to be split.

Graffiti! Sharpie graffiti. In a rose bowl press box, next to the refrigerator. I feel mischievous.

I find the best way of spreading word about the comic is to casually mention it in conversation, or relentlessly pester family and friends until you convince them to read you copies of the novels.

The youtube commercial has also been a great help too.
