Whip. He's awsome.

Have a favorite character in the series? Any that remind you of a real person you know? Talk about the ones you like, the ones you hate, and see what others think.

Why has this thread not been touched in over a year as of today!?

Whip is my favorite character by far! and yes I think he uses the ears as a rutter.

And I doubt that his power is Gravitational control since he would not be able to propel himself while already in the air... Just go up and down...

Well...

If it's gravitational control, that extends to more than just floating.

He could feasibly repel himself from nearby objects.

Gravitational fields aren't lateral. They're spherical.

Though, that's in Earth terms...It could be different in Dreamworld terms.

We don't know as of yet.

Hmmm...

Good point, but I believe they at least are similar in nature. But this would also mean that Whip would have his own personal gravitational field rather than just minipulating gravity around his person.

Have you SEEN how much he eats? All that food makes him super dense, and as a result makes him into essentially a mini-planet with it's own gravitational forces.

^^totally just pulled all that out of my ***.

guys, all the people who are saying "oh he's harmless without fingers".

he's telekinetic, so he could probably NOT be so harmless if he puts his mind to it. (pun)
i've even thought he might consider going dark......

if u want to know how i aquired this info, look at the prelude thingy on deviantart, the one with the plushy thing.

[SPOILERZ]

Why is Whip awesome?

Because he's saved another protagonist's life once per novel, so far.

Vol. 1: Saves Mace from the Sandman trying to throttle him.

Vol. 2: Saves Lilith from Smiley.

If you count the time he kept Bast from clocking Mace while he was down, that makes three times he's saved another main character.

Plus, he full-on crunched Scinter and held on all the way to Igrath's safehouse.

There's also the point to be made that Mace is hardly a pervert.

Whip, however? Totally a pervert.

Any disagreements?

Ho ho ho ho ho. Image

No doubt but I think its just cause hes accustomed to being in good access to scenic views.

Actually that brings something up, since Whip was up to some covert spying ops in Lilith's improvised all natural shower, why isnt he all sparkly too? XD

I think it's cause he wasn't actually "bathing" in it, per se. Lilith was probably rubbing the mineral into her fur, and was likely in the shower much longer than Whip was in the water. He probably sparkled while he was wet (which we couldn't see cause it was still light out), but after drying off it probably didn't stick much. Either that or his fur just isn't the right type to retain something like that.

I just love how Whip keeps slapping Mace if he starts about Lilith, while he has no problem hogging all the attention from the girls right before Mace bumps into lilith. Whip is just too funny imo, I love the the part when they think there's Pirates in the orphanage, and Mace proceeds to grab a knife, giving one to Whip, who can't hold it and just decides to go with teeth :P
