Mace and his Power

Postby RedFox on Wed Aug 20, 2008 10:15 am

Mace, being the central main character, deserves a thread as well.

One of the main reasons I opened up this thread was to discuss Mace's still unrevealed Dreamkeeper power. I would never be able to guess myself, so I was gonna let everyone else throw ideas around.

Mace is an...interesting character to say the least. Yes, the typical trouble-making orphan child type character I'm sure we've all met before, but Mace puts and interesting twist on said character. Mace has begun to develop away from his previous mischief and put forth his paw into a more adventurous and brave life. Although not exactly a team-leader persay, Mace is definitely a team-player between the group of three (Lilith, Namah, and Mace).

But yeah, There we go. Mace thread, here we go.

There was a picture once were Mace was using ice powers, but that concept is long gone XD
I like Mace a lot. Probably 'cuz he's the most mundane character, despite the fact that he's the original center of attention.
As for his power, my guess is he can inflate like a puffer fish XD

I'm also intrigued about what Mace's power will look like.
My dictionary defines resilience as some sort of elastic powers, then I google it and find that it's actually a passive ability which reduces damage of critical strikes, or something like that.

Also I love his expressions. Sometimes I can even hear his voice, like through the picture.
Overall he's cool to look at and he really gets the viewer's attention.

I like the different ages of Mace from the Prelude and the comics. He's so cute in the Prelude! It has to be the innocence 'cause of his age. In the comics he seems like the regular teenager, and his character might be a little over used with the whole mischievous orphan thing he has going on, but I found him endearing right from the get-go.

But I don't know what his power will be. I wonder when he'll use it.

Hopefully we get to see it in volume 3, or some kind of a hint on what is in there

oh I doubt we'll see it for a while. David said he'd be the lst one to figure out his power, and that it would be sad ^^; (he tells that to everyone so it's ok lol)

We'll never know...Well, we'll know when we're told, which we'll never know when or what we're going to be told, so it's fair to say that time will tell and when it does tell we'll know, although we don't know when time will tell nor will we know what will time say if time can talk. Then again David knows what Mace's power will be once he creates it, but we won't know when will that happen, however we do know it will happen, therefore it is best to prepare for that day to come.

Confused? (I sure am)

Anyways, I'm sure Mace will have some interesting power...
